A friend of a friend of mine is a tatter. She created the icicle on the left and it was on her tree. I wanted to make one, so mine is on the right. It wasn't so easy going by the original to write the pattern.
I designed an icicle many years ago (before having a blog) and mine had beads on with a long bead at the bottom. Must dig the pattern out and put it out for everyone. Well done with yours though, not always easy to follow someone elses tatting.
Great idea they would look lovely on a tree, something different looks a great pattern
