I seem to be on a big rocking horse "kick." Get it? Horse, kick. he he. I sold two of my horses to my mom and the baby cradle card. So it's back to the drawing board for me. I'm expecting a bunch of new size 40 thread so I can do more horses in that size. I never thought I'd use thread that small.
I know what you mean I think if you have a particular pattern that you enjoy, that's when it fun to go smaller with the thread! I started doing that with a snowflake I just loved and then went smaller and smaller :)
ReplyDeleteAll of your rocking horses have been wonderful!!! :)
ReplyDeleteI hope they don't kick, but you get a kick out of making them. They are splendid.
ReplyDeleteAnother gorgeous horse, hope they don't kick as you make them. They are so lovely and a great pattern.

You've certainly been tatting up a storm! Lots of posts that I 've missed! A herd of horses and the cute baby basket -and trees, plus Jane's TIAS, and other items! I've always admired this rocking horse of Pam Palmer's. She has perfectly represented the head. You will be kept busy once word spreads from your mother's friends! The
ReplyDeletebow on the basket is just the right touch, too!
so cute
ReplyDeleteThose horses rock! lol But they are so cute! You certainly have the shuttles flying. I think I like size 40 and 50 thread best. 'Course, I use a needle so it looks thicker than with a shuttle.
