Tatsy Christmas Angel

Whew, well there she is. This angel is a Tatsy pattern that I got from Ebay. It took me two weeks to tat her parts and the better part of a day to assemble her.

  7. Wow, she is spectacular. I have the Tatsy book and this angel looks beyond my current skill level. You do such lovely work.

  8. You could tat this Bernice. The skirt and bodice are just round and round like a doily. The wings go two rounds and then you start another circle and attach it to the first ring in a couple places, as you go. Then you tat around the full wing. There are some lock joins on the wing. If you have any questions, let me know. If I made another, I would make her neck longer, so it goes into the cardboard funnel deeper.

  9. She looks great. I made her back in the 70's shortly after learning to tat. Quit putting her away with Christmas decorations several years ago, She sets in my china cupboard all year so we can enjoy her. Thinking I should make her a sister and then compare my tatting skills then & now. Thread has also improved. Karen in OR
