A little bookmark

Well, I didn't tat much on holidays. Here's the finished product. I guess I should stiffen it a bit.

      Spiral Bookmark Rewritten adapted from edging #1, page 23 in Tatting Doilies & Edgings, Dover Press, edited by Rita Weiss And re-written by Cheryl Cameron. MAKE ALL RINGS WITH SMALL PICOTS
      2 shuttles, 2 colors
      Color A:
      R 10 - 7 - 3
      R 3 + 7 - 10, RW
      SS, SLT
      Ch, with color A, 5 – 5 – 5 – 5, RW (3 picots)
      Color B:
      *R 10 + prev r in Color A, 7 - 3, cl
      R 3 + 7 - 7 - 3
      R 3 + 7 - 10, RW
      SS, SLT Ch in same color (B) 5 – 5 – 5 – 5, RW**
      Color A:
      Repeat * - ** as with color B
      Repeat these 2 color changes for 8 chain loops or desired length, ending with opposite color of starting.
      Ch with color B for turn: 5 – 5 – 5 – 5 – 5 – 5 - 5, RW (6 picots)
      (second side)
      Color A:
      2 rings, R10 + 7 -3, join 1st r to last r of color B,
      R 3 + (to p of prev ring) 7 + (to middle r of last color B) 10 RW
      SS, SLT ch 5 – 5 – 5 – 5, RW
      Color B:
      3 rings, joining 1st r to last p of prev color and middle r of same color opposite in same join.
      Join 2nd r to last p of prev ring and join to p of opposite color A and color B rings in one join.
      Join 3rd r to last p of prev ring and middle p of opposite color on opposite side.
      Continue through length of bookmark, alternating colors.
      At end, to turn, 5 – 5 – 5 – 5 – 5 – 5 - 5, (6 picos) j to base of 1st r.

      Other side
      R1 10+7-3
      R2: 3+7+7-3
      R3: 3+7+10
      SS, SLT 5-5-5-5 RW
