Slippers

I had a lady at my last craft fair ask for men's slippers. I tried to find out what size she wanted, but she didn't know. I've taken a chance and made these in size 10 1/2. They are chunky yarn in a double strand. They were not easy to make as when I needed to decrease it was a lot of thickness to go through. So I'm wanting to get $15.00 for the yarn and my trouble. I hope someone will want them. I'll never do another pair like that. Too hard on the biceps. They should be nice and warm though.

More Bookmarks

I haven't tired of these yet. I enjoy the colors and those beady eyes.

Market last weekend

My market went quite well. There wasn't the turnout that was hoped for. I think part of that was because the craft fair was advertised as a trade fair and some people weren't interested in a trade fair as much as they might have been if they knew it was a craft fair.
I realized I need two tables now a days. I went back to our Ag society and paid for a second table. Now I can make more things and feel rest assured I'll have space.
I had two people ask for slippers. So when I'm done a few more bookmarks, I guess I'd better get the knitting needles out. I was so enjoying the tatting. I do want to make some of Lace-lovin-librarians lovely snowdrops. Hopefully I'll have time.
The Christmas market isn't until Nov 25. So I have two months.
I forgot to take some pictures of my tables. Oh well, I'll try to remember in Nov. No guarantees. My forgetter has been working overtime lately.
Well now I'm gonna look for a picture to post. I like seeing pictures.
Here's an object my husband picked up at the garage sale. I don't know what it is. I'm sure it's not for pitting cherries. I've sent it to Our Canada magazine to see if they'll publish it. Then maybe someone can tell me what it's for.

Five more hats

I got five more hats done. Mostly maple leafs. That makes it 18 hats for the market. I will try to remember to take pictures of my tables at the market. Or I guess it's a craft fair.

I still have this froggy on a card for sale. So I upgraded it a little with some water and cattails. I hope to sell it sometime. My husband wants me to draw a tongue coming out of the frogs mouth. I told him my frog was too polite to stick out his tongue in public. I've also been working on these woolly bookworms. They are fun and easy to make.

Maple leafs

These Maple leafs are so much fun to make. I hope to put one on a card and use the other two for caps. Less than two weeks to my first market of the year and so much to do.
