Lots to share

Here is the latest member of the choir. I call her Angelica. She's made with Lizbeth Blue Ice.
Next is the gingerbread house my daughter and I put together yesterday. It was lots of fun.
And here's a cold sunrise picture I took a few mornings ago.

    1. The secret is to buy the kit with the walls already made. We used way more Royal icing than what came in the kit. I had some Royal icing powder in my pantry. It was a little old, but it worked well. Not sure it will taste very good, as my icing was old. So, if you buy a kit, pick up some Royal icing powder, so you'll have lots to play with. My talented daughter made the icicles in the front of the house. I made an attempt on the sides. Her's are much nicer looking. But we had great fun together and that was the whole purpose.

Nice ginger beard house, looks lovely well done to your daughter.
Your sunrise made me feel cold, we have a frost this morning and it's getting colder here in the UK

  6. Blue Ice Angel looks so wintry, and perfect for the Christmas season. Nice gingerbread house. ...I used to make them, but without a kit, and always used the meringue powder...is that what you used? hmmm, I think I still have some left........

    1. The kit came with some icing already made. I found it wasn't enough, but I had some powdered Royal Icing in my pantry. So I made that up and was able to complete our gingerbread house that way. I probably got the powder at Nutters. Do you think meringue powder and royal icing are the same thing?
