About Me

My photo
I retired early because my legs don't like holding me up for too long. So now I can do things in my own time. I like to sell things at farmers market. Most of which, I've made myself, e.g. homemade soap, crochet dish cloths, hand towels, baby afghans and of course,..tatting.

Jane's Bookmark Hat

I was making Jane's bookmark with Lizbeth Ocean Sunset, and was really enjoying the pattern. So I kept going until I had a piece long enough for a cap. Hence, a Jane's bookmark cap.

  1. The hat looks great! I like the overall look with both the heart in the center of the crown and the bookmark along the brim. What did you use to attach the tatting to the hat?

  2. Thank you for the compliments. I use Aleene's "Ok to Wash It" It's a washable fabric glue.

  3. Looking good. I've used the pattern too to make a braid to decorate a dress. In fact, your use here is closer to the original in the Anna magazine than a bookmark is!
